Tornadoes of South Dorset Junior swimmers almost repeated their 2005 top finalist win at the Southern Counties Junior League final at Horfield, Bristol. South Dorset, in their 9th consecutive final, finished in 2nd place with 184 points, narrowly beaten by Ferndown with 199 points. The gala finishing positions were:

• Ferndown 1st, 199 points;
• Tornadoes of South Dorset 2nd, 184 points;
• Swindon Dolphins 3rd, 183 points;
• Bournemouth Dolphins 4th, 159 points;
• Thornbury 5th, 159 points;
• Keynsham 6th, 133 points.
